Product-market fit

The point where the market pulls the product out of you.

Before it, growth comes from pushing: every customer is a persuasion. After it, retention holds, usage deepens, and people arrive without being chased.

It is not a certificate anyone issues, and founders often claim it early. The honest signals are boring ones: a flattening retention curve, customers using it without being reminded, and complaints when it breaks.
